October Rumblings
Welcome to Rumblings, our monthly pulse check on what’s buzzing online, on-screen, and in the group chat.
SAY HELLO to our new Marketing Manager and longtime friend: Christine!
With decades of experience—including fun theme park days working with Kristy and Andrea—she brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Christine launched her career at SeaWorld Orlando as a media promotions coordinator, later moving on to Universal Orlando Resort to conquer high-stakes campaigns, complex IP approvals, and cross-departmental teamwork.
This month, we sat down with her to chat about her amazing career journey!
THE 411 ON CHRISTINE
Tell us a little bit about who you are!
I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, I headed off to UCF where I earned my degree in Broadcast Journalism alongside a minor in Marketing. I officially kicked off my career with an internship at SeaWorld Orlando that quickly blossomed into my first "big girl" job as a media promotions coordinator—outside of work, I'm happily married to a firefighter and am a proud mom to two wonderful kids!
What did you learn during your time in the theme park industry?
Think like the guest, not the marketer. This is an industry where memories are made. Guest experience is what you’re building, and if you lose sight of it, you lose sight of everything else.
Live and breathe the brand. You're not just marketing a theme park, you're representing a promise the brand has made to millions of people, some of whom have been coming since they were kids. That kind of loyalty deserves to be treated with care.
Remember who's making the decision. It's easy to build campaigns around who's in the park, but the person choosing whether to come back, renew the pass, or spend the extra money on the upgrade is very often mom. Design with her in mind.
Be thoughtful in everything, from the smallest email subject line to the biggest campaign, because someone on the other end is going to feel the difference between something done with care and something done on autopilot.
What are your top three tips for launching a rollercoaster?
Stay flexible. You can build the most detailed plan in the world, but construction will get delayed, the weather will turn, the campaign will need to shift overnight.
Have a plan.
Then have a plan B, C, and D, because you'll need them.
What was your biggest lesson learned at Universal Orlando Resort?
Working with intellectual properties takes extra time because every project touching an IP has to navigate extensive layers of approval processes, making built-in buffer time essential to keeping projects anywhere near on schedule, while strong communication skills are equally critical when you're balancing so many moving parts across multiple internal departments and external partners.

Trying new restaurants, but some of my favorites are Olivia and Ponte because the service is wonderful and the food is delicious.
What excites you most about working with RumbleBuzz?
What excites me most about working with RumbleBuzz is the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their own unique needs and challenges. I’m excited to put my creativity to work, reconnect with people who share a strong foundation in marketing, and build relationships with new team members along the way. WE CELEBRATED!
As a proud Latina- and women-owned business, sponsoring Bienvenido a BSP was deeply personal to us. We were so excited (and emotional!) to see our community come alive with the vibrant rhythms, rich traditions, and heartbeat of Hispanic and Latino cultures through incredible performances, shared meals, and generations gathering together. It was a reminder of the beauty of our heritage and the power of true belonging.
We were so honored to help bring this celebration to life.
